Launched in 2022, Large Yacht Corp is an independent Superyacht brokerage house specialising in Yacht sales, purchase, charter and new build.
With diverse experience both onboard and over two decades onshore, our team takes pride in honest guidance, building long term relationships to provide a knowledge-based service, handling all yachting needs in a seamless, unbiased, and trustworthy way.
Large Yacht Corp was founded by Vesa Kaukonen in 2022 following three decades of involvement in the maritime industry.
His professional career at sea started in the early nineties when he joined the Finnish Coast Guard. In 1999 Vesa moved to the Cote D’Azur after being offered a Captain’s position onboard a private vessel; he has since called Monaco his home. Vesa worked as a Captain on both private and commercial yachts ranging up to 52 meters until 2005. Following demand from both Owners and Charter Guests, Vesa made the decision to embark on a shore-based venture, opening his own boutique-style company to cater for their Large Yacht requirements.
Vesa takes pride in his honest guidance, building long term relationships to provide a knowledge-based service, handling all yachting needs in a seamless, unbiased, and trustworthy way. Vesa’s principles are built on Integrity; where he believes investing in people through his unwavering passion for the industry and unravelled knowledge gained from his experience ensures his Clients’ best interest comes first, targets are reached and their visions turn to reality.
In his spare time, you will find Vesa either navigating his classic steamship in the Finnish lakes, playing numerous sports, or walking his Australian labradoodle “Jäbä” on the Coast.
